Just got back from vacation in Tela. I will be posting pics soon. It was an amazing vacation; it was also eye-opening. I've had alot on my mind lately, and I'm still working through it. For now I just wanted to share something I wrote in my journal on the roadtrip home yesterday:

The roads are a little bumpy but pretty much the same here - pavement, lines, signs, and okay some rather large potholes. But it's on the other side of the road where the stark contrast lies. And to make that comparison would be to compare two very different lives.
Where the world meets the road, behind it stretches the green richness of mountains and beauty tangled with a poverty that the people who live in it don't seem to notice. But these eyes have seen both sides of the world... and don't know which to prefer.
