just thoughts

I can't really explain how much God has been teaching me lately, and how much closer I have felt to Him recently. It's just like He is going out of His way to help me know that I am in His hands, under His care and guidance. There is new meaning in the words I have read for so long: "My grace is sufficient for you." (2 Corinthians 12:9)

I think maybe the two biggest struggles of my spiritual life right now are patience and surrender. I have been struggling with those 2 things my entire life. Why hasn't God given up on me? Why has He, multiple times, clamped His hand around me and pulled me out of situations where I placed myself? All I can think is that He is going to use these struggles as a testimony someday.

I am clinging to You right now. In the midst of trials and change, YOU REMAIN. Help me to learn this, to live by it, to let it be an anchor for the rest of my life - no matter what comes.
